What is FlashJobs?
FlashJobs is a job marketplace for food and beverage work in Kuala Lumpur. Businesses post daily jobs, workers browse and apply, and both sides deal with each other directly — no agency in between.
How do I get paid?
The business pays you directly when the job ends, using the payment method shown on the listing — for example cash or e-wallet. The pay is shown before you apply. FlashJobs takes no cut, never holds your money, and never asks for your bank or card details.
Does it cost anything?
Not for workers. Businesses pay a subscription to use the platform, separate from worker pay.
What if I don't get paid?
Report it in the app. We can review what happened, help both sides sort it out, and take action on the account where it's warranted. FlashJobs never holds job payments, so we can't reverse one — which is why the pay and payment method are agreed up front on every listing.
What if I can't make a job I accepted?
Withdraw from the job detail screen as early as you can so the business can find a replacement. Repeated late withdrawals lower your reliability score.
How do ratings and my reliability score work?
After each job, the worker and the business can rate each other. Your average rating and reliability score show on your profile. Turning up on time and completing jobs raises them — no-shows and late withdrawals lower them — and higher scores mean more offers.
What happens if a job offer expires?
If you don't accept or decline before the countdown ends, the offer moves to the next worker on the waitlist. You aren't penalised, but you miss that job.
Do I need experience or qualifications?
Requirements vary by job. Certificates like a Food Handler Certificate help you stand out, and you can add them under Profile → Edit Profile → Qualifications.
Where does FlashJobs work?
Right now we're in Kuala Lumpur, with jobs across Bangsar, KLCC, Mont Kiara, and Bukit Bintang.
