Staffing that only works when nothing goes wrong isn't staffing. FlashJobs fills the gap — now free on the Apple App Store and Google Play.
It’s 7am. A cashier calls in sick two hours before the lunch rush, and the manager starts scrolling a personal WhatsApp list. The old way of staffing only works when nothing goes wrong: agencies take days and a cut, job boards send applicants who live too far away to come in, and workers wait weeks for money they’ve already earned. Nearby, someone with a free afternoon would gladly take that job — and has no way of knowing it exists.
We built FlashJobs for both of them. Since 25 September, the FlashJobs app has been live and free on the App Store and Google Play.
See the pay before you apply
Every job shows the pay, hours, location and the business behind it. Pick what fits your free time and apply in one tap.
Keep every ringgit
The business pays you directly when the job ends. No agent, no middleman, and FlashJobs takes no cut. Each job shows its pay before you apply, set by the business, usually as an hourly rate. A full shift can pay RM100–200; shorter jobs pay less. Varies by role, hours, and business. Your completed jobs and what you’ve been paid sit in one list.
Post a job without the group chats
For restaurants and venues: set the role, time and hourly wages in the app. Nearby workers are notified and apply — no calls, no WhatsApp threads.
Choose who you hire — and who you work for
Compare applicants by rating, completed jobs, completion rate and punctuality, view each worker’s profile, then confirm the right person in the app. It works both ways: workers can see each business’s rating before they apply.
